Michele's Biography
I'm an international speaker and personal development coach on Deepak Chopra's digital wellness platform Jiyo. I have 20 years of experience working with people from all walks of life who want to make changes in their lives but are still stuck after trying just about every other option. I work quickly and economically to get you the results you want and need so that you can move forward with your life.
Before I began helping people to make profound and lasting changes in their lives. I was an international runway model. You're probably wondering how I made such an extreme life change. When I was a model I suffered from anorexia nervosa and there were very few people around who knew how to help me and my colleagues who were also suffering, so I embarked on a journey to figure out what I could do to free myself from the 'monkey on my back'.
I did a lot of reading and self-development and learned a lot along the way. Some good some not so good. I was always interested in human behavior and at that moment realized that I wanted to help others get the 'monkey off their back'. After years of studying several methodologies such as NLP, Hypnotherapy, and Havening Techniques, I had the tools to make a difference in people's lives with their weight, anxiety, stress, trauma and any other issue that was holding them back.
Born and raised on the East Coast of the USA, several years ago I moved to London, England, where I got married and raised a family and had a very successful practice on Harley Street.
I've recently moved to the West Coast of the USA to bring Havening Techniques to Southern California where I have my practice in Beverly Hills and am working with Deepak Chopra on his new digital wellness platform, jiyo.com. Together we are bringing wellness to anyone, anywhere in the world at their fingertips. I am also part of a training team that teaches counselors, therapists, psychotherapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists Havening Techniques to add to their existing methodologies for quicker and long-lasting results.
For the past 3 years, I have been training with Dr. Gabor Maté on his program, Compassionate Inquiry, which focuses on childhood trauma and addiction. This is a very compassionate and effective approach to healing years of developmental trauma and getting to the core of what creates addiction. As Dr. Maté says, “The question is not why the addiction, but why the pain."
