Michele's Techniques

Havening Techniques

Havening Techniques, otherwise known as Delta Wave Techniques, is a psychosensory treatment that uses simple touch to permanently eliminate unwanted feelings, both somatic and emotional, from distressing memories and events. In addition, these techniques are useful for promoting professional and personal growth. The method is derived from and consistent with current neuroscience literature.

Havening Techniques is easy to learn, can be self-applied, is rapid, gentle, and essentially without side effects. The client can be 'Havened' by a licensed practitioner or self-Haven with the practictioner.

The technique begins with stroking the face in the manner of applying moisturiser, stroking the arms from the shoulders to elbows and stroking the hands. These are 3 parts of the body that can be stroked by the practictioner that releases the highest amount of neurotransmitters. Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a way of thinking about how the world works and figuring out how excellence can be achieved in everyday life. NLP offers you techniques to create new results to be a better communicator, have a better social life, have more successful relationships, career success, get rid of bad habits or phobias, and become a better version of yourself.

NLP focuses on excellence and how people become successful and stay successful in all areas of their life like relationships, weight management, and career. By studying their strategies and finding the successful patterns they are running, we can all learn how to apply them to all areas of our lives.

Are you stuck? Do you have limiting beliefs in an area of your life such as I'm not worthy, I'm too fat, I'm not pretty enough, I'm not smart enough, no one loves me? These are the kind of limiting beliefs that so many people walk around believing. With NLP, you can change your mind for good.

Clinical & Professional Hypnotherapy

Simply speaking hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness. Clinical Hypnosis or Hypnotherapy, therefore, is the use of an altered state of consciousness, or trance, for the therapeutic endpoint. This means that people are not treated with hypnosis but are treated in hypnosis.

All hypnotic states are characterized by an extremely pleasant state of relaxation, which individuals allow themselves to enter so that desired, beneficial suggestions may be given directly to the part of the mind known as the unconscious.

Under hypnosis, the conscious, rational part of the brain is temporarily bypassed, making the unconscious part, which influences mental and physical functions, receptive to therapy. During the trance state, there is a heightened concentration for the specific purpose of maximizing potential, changing limiting beliefs and behaviors, and gaining insight and wisdom.

Compassionate Inquiry

Compassionate Inquiry® is a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté that reveals what lies beneath the appearance we present to the world.

Using Compassionate Inquiry, both the individual and therapist unveil the level of consciousness, mental climate, hidden assumptions, implicit memories, and body states that form the real message that words both express and conceal.

Through Compassionate Inquiry, the client can recognize the unconscious dynamics that run their lives and how to liberate themselves from them.

“The purpose of Compassionate Inquiry is to drill down to the core stories people tell themselves – to get them to see what story they are telling themselves unconsciously; what those beliefs are, where they came from; and guide them to the possibility of letting go of those stories, or letting go of the hold those stories have on them …

That’s what Compassionate Inquiry is.”
