Havening Techniques

Havening Techniques, otherwise known as Delta Wave Techniques, is a psychosensory treatment that uses simple touch to permanently eliminate unwanted feelings, both somatic and emotional, from distressing memories and events. In addition, these techniques are useful for promoting professional and personal growth. The method is derived from and consistent with current neuroscience literature.

 

Havening Techniques is easy to learn, can be self-applied, is rapid, gentle, and essentially without side effects. The client can be 'Havened' by a licensed practitioner or self-Haven with the practictioner.

 

The technique begins with stroking the face in the manner of applying moisturiser, stroking the arms from the shoulders to elbows and stroking the hands. These are 3 parts of the body that can be stroked by the practictioner that releases the highest amount of neurotransmitters. Under hypnosis, the conscious, rational part of the brain is temporarily bypassed, making the unconscious part, which influences mental and physical functions, receptive to therapy. During the trance state, there is a heightened concentration for the specific purpose of maximizing potential, changing limiting beliefs and behaviors, and gaining insight and wisdom.

Compassionate Inquiry

Compassionate Inquiry® is a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté that reveals what lies beneath the appearance we present to the world.

Using Compassionate Inquiry, both the individual and therapist unveil the level of consciousness, mental climate, hidden assumptions, implicit memories, and body states that form the real message that words both express and conceal.

Through Compassionate Inquiry, the client can recognize the unconscious dynamics that run their lives and how to liberate themselves from them.
